Sound and Vibrational Therapy with Crystal Bowls

Updated: Feb 3, 2023

Crystal bowls, also known as singing bowls or Tibetan bowls, are becoming increasingly popular in sound and vibrational therapies. These bowls are made from a variety of crystal materials, such as quartz, and are struck or played with a mallet to produce a rich, soothing sound.

The vibrations produced by the bowls are believed to have healing properties and can be used to relax the body and mind, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. The sound vibrations can also help to balance the body's energy centers, known as chakras.

Sound and vibrational therapy sessions typically involve lying down and being surrounded by the sounds of the crystal bowls. Benefits may also be received through remote sessions by an experienced practitioner. The practitioner may also use other instruments, such as gongs or chimes, to create a harmonious and immersive sound environment.

Some people also use crystal bowls at home for meditation and personal healing. The bowls can be played while sitting or lying down and can help to create a peaceful and calm environment.

Sound and vibrational therapy with crystal bowls is a non-invasive and natural way to promote healing and relaxation. It can be used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical treatment with the permission of your doctor.

My sound bowl is a great tool to clear energy from my home and body, I really notice that my space always feels inviting and comfortable when I play it!
